Revenge Travel is Coming, Travel Trends & Cosmetic Dermatology in 2021

Several places have dubbed 2021 “Summer of Revenge Travel” which seem an odd way to depict something that should come off as relaxing, but Dr. Michele Green was quoted in PureWow over the weekend in an article titled “9 Trends That Will Be Huge During the Summer of ‘Revenge Travel’.”

She talks about the wave of patients coming in to get touched up for their travel this summer, whether a reschedule from 2020 or a simple need to go anywhere.

“Perhaps it is the ‘Zoom effect’ or perhaps it is the feeling of seasons changing or pent up demand, or patients feeling free to come in after vaccinations, but I am finding it difficult to keep up with demand,” says Dr. Green.

“Patients want to come in to rejuvenate and refresh before the summer season and before going on much-anticipated vacations. With the numbers of patients doing cosmetic injectables like Botox and Juvederm, lip fillers, acne and acne scar treatments, CoolSculpting and lasers reaching record highs, we are keeping long wait lists to try to accommodate our patients if we get cancellations,” she adds.
