According to the National Eczema Association, COVID-19 does not increase the risk of life-threatening complications for people with eczema.  And it is worth getting a vaccine wherever you are within the US, as these vaccines are free to everyone living in the United States, regardless of their immigration status and whether or not they have health insurance, according to the CDC.

Both the “Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines are authorized for use in the United States, and are safe for people with mild, moderate, and severe eczema cases,” Dr. Green says in the article – which also discusses other allergy types – for example, if you are allergic to polyethylene glycol (PEG), you should not receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
