USA Today Feature Dr. Green on Home Anti-Aging Treatments

When it comes to cosmetic treatments, one of the latest trends is to carry out cosmetic treatments at home, using products that claim to be specifically designed for this very purpose. Often, they aim to provide result similar to dermatological treatments such as Botox, which needs to be carried out by a professional. The question is, do these products live up to the hype and can they save you time and money?

USA Today have talked to Dr. Green to learn more about at home cosmetic treatments and to find out what the alternatives are.  She notes that “During the early 2000s, Botox was commonly associated with reality TV stars who had excessive amounts injected. These individuals were questioned and ridiculed and Botox certainly did not have as good of a reputation it has today,” however things have changed a lot in recent years and “since then, Botox has changed from being tabloid fodder to standard practice for many individuals trying to look youthful.”
