Dr. Green quoted in Hello Giggles article about Licorice Root

Hello Giggles talks with dermatologists about the skincare benefits of licorice root, and Dr. Green was quoted several times in the article.

She notes that licorice root  “contains an active called glabridin, which inhibits melanin production by minimizing the production of tyrosinase (which causes pigment) to combat discoloration,” and recommends a few products to relieve inflamed skin whether from tattoos, lasers, or sunburns.
