What is Vivace Microneedling?
One of the newest generation FDA approved cosmetic procedures that has been released is called Vivace Microneedling and this is a combination of two other forms of therapy, which are microneedling and RF (radio frequency) treatment. The main goal for Vivace Microneedling is for skin tightening.
There are some key problem areas that Vivace Microneedling is designed to help alleviate. Generally, Vivace Microneedling can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. However, it also helps to tighten skin and improve the skin tone and texture. It is also possible to minimize and reduce pore size if that is an issue.
As we age, the skin laxity reduces, meaning that wrinkles and fine lines can appear. However, to some degree this can be reduced using skin contouring methods. Microneedling RF treatments such as Vivace are designed to treat this by stimulating the production of collagen.
How does Vivace Microneedling Work?
Aesthetics Biomedical is the manufacturer of Vivace Microneedling, which is also occasionally known as the Vivace Experience. The way Vivace Microneedling works is that it uses radio frequency energy, which heats the skin, which stimulates the body’s natural collagen production and the natural wound healing process. New collagen and elastin therefore can mean tighter, fresher looking skin.
Microneedling on the other hand, uses tiny, microneedles to creative microscopic channels in the dermis of the skin which also promotes collagen production within the body and the skin’s microchannels. Because RF Microneedling treatments such as Vivace combine both these two skincare products together, the overarching goal is to gain the benefits from both treatments, all rolled into one non-surgical procedure that is suitable and easy for many different skin types.
How often should you have Vivace Microneedling?
For optimal results, three Vivace treatments spaced six weeks apart is a typically schedule for the Vivace Microneedling treatment. Downtime is also minimal, meaning you can get back to your daily routine quickly. The treatment is mostly pain free, although numbing cream may be used to help reduce any irritation and discomfort.

The treatment takes a few days to be fully effective, but after this most individuals will notice results. However, a side benefit is that once the new collagen production in the body is under way you should also see noticeable improvements over time for up to around six months after the last session.
Other Skin Tightening Options
There is a large range of skin tightening treatments that are also designed to provide similar results to Vivace Microneedling. These can both be complimentary, such as Botox treatments to reduce fine lines and wrinkles in the forehead, along with other treatments that help stimulate collagen production. For those individuals who are looking to treat acne or acne scarring then there is a wide range of available treatments that might be offered depending on your own situation and presentation. It is always best to discuss the results you are looking to achieve with your dermatologist in advance, prior to settling on a particular treatment since a tailored treatment plan is likely to achieve better results.
