Robb Report talked to Dr. Green today where she is featured and quoted several times in “How to Make Your Pores Look Smaller, According to a Dermatologist.”

A common question we hear is can you shrink your own pores.  Not quite, but Dr. Green notes that “we can diminish their appearance through proper skincare and in-office treatments.”

From Retinols to Sunscreens, Moisturizers and Clay Masks, she goes through various product types along with in-office options such as chemical peels, laser resurfacing and Microneedling.  Each differs in results based on your needs and skin types overall – “In general, men have more oily skin than women due to an increase in androgen hormones that stimulate sebaceous glands,” adds Green. As for where this is most common – she also mentions in the article that “Pores typically appear larger in areas with high concentrations of sebaceous glands, such as the nose, cheeks, and forehead.”
