What Do Dermatologists Think About Coconut Oil For Sunburn? Byrdie Interview
Dr. Green was featured on “Here’s What Dermatologists Have to Say About Using Coconut Oil For Sunburn” this Friday at Byrdie.com
She talks about how Coconut Oil compares to Aloe Vera and when it can make things better, as well as worse. For instance you would not want to use it if you had just gotten a sunburn.
“This is because applying any oil over a fresh sunburn will trap the heat on the surface of your skin,” Dr. Green explains. “This can worsen the burn, increase inflammation, and keep your skin hot and red making the healing process take longer.”

I recommend Dr. Green to everyone I know. Even other guys who are reluctant to go see a dermatologist in the first place (though they should!).
