Dr. Green Discusses Causes of Issues With Unicorn Face Mask

Over the past few days, Yes To’s recalled Grapefruit Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Unicorn Paper Mask has generated a lot of news due to how it might be causing burning and blistering skin among some of its users.

Marketed to younger audiences, the product lists various ingredients, but dermatologists such as Dr. Green noted that “There could be some inactive ingredients not listed as the main ingredient that’s causing this. I would guess that there’s something in there that’s a very bad irritant, like an acid, that’s burning their skin” in a recent Fox Business article. It could also be the ingredient described as “Fragrance” that is causing these issues.

Of course, whether its the Unicorn Paper Mask or anything else, “If it’s really a burn, and it continues, go to the doctor.”
