Shaving Legs for the Last Days of Summer
Jane Chertoff of Brit+Co interviews dermatologists, including Dr. Michele Green about how to avoid ingrown hairs and marks from shaving ones legs.
Dr. Green notes that “shaving success depends on the thickness of the hair and the closeness of the shave, but it leaves the root and part of the hair exposed. In addition, constant shaving results in razor stubble and irritation. Not using the right shaving cream or having the areas prepped correctly can also cause this type of irritation.”
They also discuss how to prevent razor bumps, dark spots and other potential issues.
