Blue light is all around us in nature, but is also generated by computer, TV, smart phone screens and types of LED lighting. Too much blue light can cause long term issues with your eyes and even damage retinal cells. In addition to this it can also cause problems with your skin.

Very Good Light magazine have examined the issue of Blue Light and the ways you can protect yourself against it. They have spoken to Dr. Green to get her advice on what you can do.

Dr. Green notes in the article, that Blue Light: “weakens the skin surface, which exposes the skin to free radical damage and premature aging.”

The good news is that there are a range of things you can do that will help protect yourself from some, but not all blue light exposure.
