Beyond one searching in Google for Acne treatment, there are a few keywords to look for when shopping for an acne-friendly daily moisturizer. “You always want to look for an oil-free, non-comedogenic (which means it won’t clog pores) brand for acne,” says dermatologist Michele Green, M.D. in a recent Self Magazine article.
Some of the products include Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion, which is great for sensitive acne-prone skin and available at a low price, or if you prefer a thicker moisturizer, Crème de la Mer, may cost more, but provides a luxurious feeling.
Dr. Green also recommends Neutrogena Clear Face Liquid Lotion Sunscreen for day to day sunscreen usage if you have acne-prone skin.
