Onychomycosis accounts for 50% of all nail disease. Onychomycosis, or nail fungus, is more common on the toe nails than a person’s finger nails. It is an extremely common disorder which we treat every day in Dr. Green’s office.
Onychomycosis may also be associated with Tinea or fungus in other areas of the body. Because of the contagious nature of fungal infections, Dr. Michele Green may prescribe a combination or topical and oral medications to treat your condition.
